A Randonnée distance distinguished by two types:
– Brevet Randonneur (BR) – an AUK classification where speeds can be between 14.3 to 30kph; the time allowance is based on the overall distance.
– Brevet de Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRM) – an Audax Club Parisien classification where speeds are 15 to 30kph; the time allowance is based on the nominal distance ie 400 thus 27h00.
Events:

Part of the Brunel’s Billiard Table Series and great qualifier for Paris Brest Paris. With a late start to mimic PBP and get you used to riding through the first night you’ll get to Paddington in the early hours.

The inaugral Great Western Randonnées’ AAA 400. All aboard to Bishop’s Lydeard Station before traversing the northern coastline of Exmoor. Use the old Barnstaple branch-line and head home via Winsham Jubilee Hall

Heading west into Wales and the birthplace of the Bluestones found at Stonehenge. Making use of old railway lines inc Hengoed Viaduct & NCN47; a mix of forest track and wind turbine service roads. Compliments Plains, Trains & no more Automobiles 200 the following day.
