5th of the 5 British Isles’ Peaks – Slieve Donard. Weather gods love us; mostly… Easy climbs. Windy wander & whistling walls. Quick downpour at the peak. Stunning sunny scenic return. Must go hill hiking!

R’s 8th year completed. MizMal done. Now for the end proper. Into Northern Ireland and along its coast to Belfast. Double Disaster! 5 of 5. Back to Eire and a day off in Dublin before we depart.
Galway to Malin Head
Dodging the rain but not. Some proper wild camping. Views! Day off at Ocky’s. Morning sea views x2. History+ lesson. “Daddy I love you.” Malin Head and a big surprise!

Carrauntoohil: 4th of the 5 British Isles’ Peaks. Stunning Weather. A hard climb on the Devil’s Ladder. Amazing Views. Equally hard descent on Brother O’Shea’s Gully. Best mountain so far!
Mizen Head to Galway
Mizen Head – the beginning of the end2end. Rugged coast line. Big hills. Day off to climb a mountain. No plans for camping. Long days. Here comes the rain/sun/rain/sun/rain/rain, oh, and the wind!

Aches & Pains, delayed Trains! 3 days to the start?! Old train line, hills, coastal roads. Where to camp? This will have to do! Glorious sunshine, fades to wet grey.
